[Captain's Office] -- [Open Post]
There was a lot going on on his ship, and it was happening faster than he could keep up sometimes. He thanked everything for Spock as his First Officer because otherwise he would have had a backup of paperwork and a million other details he just couldn't deal with on top of everything else.
He knew there was someone new on the ship - the Sulu from Pasha's universe. He hoped this would be easy... specially since their own Sulu had gone missing. That still pissed him off, upset him. Sulu had been one of the best navigators he had ever seen, and the way he and Pavel had worked together... fuck.
He needed to talk to Scotty something fierce about the transporter. He couldn't figure out what happened that the four had ended up on the ship as women, but something had happened.
(OOC: This is for all new people and anyone else who needs this!)

"You wanted to see me, sir?"

"What did you do?"

Erm. "They're just... all four of them are... girls."

Sulu couldn't help but sound dreadfully informal to the captain, hurtling to your death on Vulcan while clutching at a man made most formalities disappear in his mind. He realized, however, that Jim probably wouldn't appreciate the lack of title on the sentence.
"Sir." He hastily added with a bit of a sheepish smile.

"I swear I'm not going to hurt the ship if that was a worry about me being here randomly."
{OOC: I'm so sorry it took me so long to get to this, the paper I was working on kicked my ass.}

"I doubt there's any Sulu in any universe that would hurt his ship unless it's opposite universe." Kirk smirked, but it faded just before his next words. "...The Sulu of this universe has just... vanished, just as much as you randomly appeared here. It'll be good to have someone who can fly this thing again with his skill."
no subject
"It's a good thing I'm not from that universe, then isn't it?" Sulu joked before noticing Kirk's change in demeanor. "Is that an offer to have me pilot the ship, Kirk? Because, I think I can really only do it if Pasha's my helmswoman, because I haven't gotten to be do that in while with him."

The Enterprise knew that he was expected, was it really too much to ask for them to swing by closer to him on Exo III so that he could simply transport on board? But after a particularly chilly response from his usual contact at Starfleet, admonishing him, letting him know that the Enterprise was unable to leave it location, busy with an important mission, Roger agreed to simply make his way to the nearest Starbase and shuttle the rest of the way.
Like cargo or something.
Then, to make matters worse, no one had been there to meet him when he arrived. Not that he'd expected a parade, but- no ship's officers, no one from Medical, no one at all. Was there no sense of decorum on this ship? Just an ensign who collected his bags and showed him to his quarters, a regular-sized room for one. Serviceable, but only just.
Roger unpacked, and after reviewing the computer for his mail, messages, and a map of the ship, he headed toward the Captain's office. He understood the social niceties, even if no one else on this ship of youngsters did.
Pressing on the panel, he waited for the door to open.

"I'm sure you're up to your eyeballs in visitors, both expected and not, but I did want to make your acquaintance before I began my research."
no subject
"So tell me about your research."

The smile he returned to the young captain was his most charming. "However, I could not resist the chance to examine your guests, so to speak, and see what information they could share with us. You know, for science," he added.

She pressed the panel beside the door, requested entry, and turned to regard the Vulcan beside her.
"Your lack of resistance is appreciated," Spock commented.
no subject
"Is there reason to resist?"
Perhaps the Vulcan was not as harmless as she'd thought.
no subject
She turned and waited for the Captain to permit them entry.
no subject
She turned to face the door, subtly shifting her weight four centimeters further away from Spock as she did so.
no subject
"And who is this?" Directed towards both of them, trying not to be rude. Another one? Hell, we can't take this many... Sulu, Korby, just in the last few days... I need to discuss this with Starfleet.

Was the guy who built it blind? Or...at least embarassingly old?
When they arrived at his office, Harry steeled himself. Had to keep cool. No need to give himself over, just play it nice and cold shelf, Harry.
Wait, Leo. Yeah, Leo.
He took a casual seat before Kirk's desk and plastered on his most charming, nonthreatening smile. The ladies weren't the only ones who could flirt their way out of danger.
"Now what might it be that you'd like to be discussing, Captain?" He asked. "If you need a fair recompense for those parts and that labor, well I'd pay it readily. You really saved my proverbial bacon, out there."

It was a good thing Ferengi ships were fast, else this could be verified.
Just the thought left a bad taste in his mouth.
"If you'll check the logs on my humble vessel," he continued, "she'll point you the right direction, Captain."

He looked up at Walsh, "What's the cargo you're hauling on the Lightning Bug?"
no subject
The other traders, well he could care less.
Actually, he probably couldn't.
"Cargo?" Harry blinked. Nothing he'd like to report.
"Well, I'm between hauls now, Captain Kirk. Just renting my services as a ferry for those enchanting creatures you've so recently met."
