[HALLOWEEN PARTY!] -- [Open to ALL PLAYERS!] -- [IC Event!]

It had gone out as an announcement over a month ago, sent to every padd and station by one very excited Captain. A Halloween party! Must come in costume, must have fun!

Despite the hell that had been going on for the last few days, Kirk was determined that it still would happen. After a long discussion with the ship's quartermaster, along with a small army of crewmen who wanted to help, the largest rec room was decorated.

A huge buffet table had been prepared by the galley and sat spread out, all in Halloween theme. Green punch with floating eyeballs, cake decorated to look like a gravestone, a huge bowl of candy, a holographic severed hand that was scurrying around on the table top. There was even a bar set up with quite an expanse of liquor that had been secured on Risa.

There was a small seating area off to one corner, a huge dance floor, tables spread out for a real meal, and a small corner set up for music.

(OOC: Just like the thread with Risa... this is a party that's 'open' from now until Sunday night at midnight! Go nuts! This IS supposed to be IC, like the Risa party, so keep that in mind!)

Kirk slowly pulled his head back from Bill, his eyes brilliant behind his mask as he looked to the actor. Just to be a shit, he gave a little grind of their hips together. He pressed the tip of his tongue against Bill's lower lip, and whispered to him, "Mmm.. can't go too far here but..." Another little grind, "there's an empty room right across the hall."

It was like being back in the academy. "Or, course, we could... schedule a dinner date." Complete with a wink, laying on heavy the old Kirk charm.

"Evidently I was mistaken," Leonard replied to Jim, unconsciously running his fingers along his collar. "Or maybe it's just that he has a thing for Kirks. Wouldn't surprise me, to be honest."

Bill looked at Kirk wide-eyed and breathless, speechless for a moment. Then he ran his hand through his hair and smiled. "Yeah, I'll - um - I'll let you get back to things." He paused, heart thumping a little in his throat. "If you, er, if you - I mean you can always get me on the PADD."

Dammit. Smooth, Billy, so smooth.

"I'm - gonna go now," Bill added hastily. "It was nice to, uh, meet you properly."

And with a parting smile, he extricated himself from Kirk's arms, and headed for a chair to calm down in.

With a parting smile for Jim, Leonard moved on from the spot he was standing in to walk over to where Bill had collapsed in a chair, approaching silently.

"Having fun?" The tone of his voice left no question as to how much he'd happened to see.

Bill glanced up at Leonard's approach, pressed a hand to his rapidly flushing face and looked down again, fighting an embarrassed grin. "It's...interesting, being Jim Kirk at a party," he confessed. "You?"

Kirk watched Bill practically run for it, and laughed to himself. He planned to have a little talk with the real Jim later about this. Maybe he'd swing over and tease Leonard about his lover and just how damn well he kissed.

Leonard grinned widely. "Well, I haven't gotten to the point of making out in dark corners with other men whilst still maintaining to be mostly straight, but I did spend some time being roped in by Wonderwoman's lasso, so yeah, I'm having fun."

He casually trailed a finger down Bill's neck.

Bill shivered slightly, and twitched Leonard's hand away. "I just got accosted by - well, a Jim Kirk in a public place," he protested. "a. It's not my fault, and b. you need to stop that if you don't want a repeat of the last party we went to." He smiled. "I'm glad you're having fun, though. I did happen to see you all tied up, there."

Leonard pulled up a chair to sit closer to Bill. "I don't know, for being accosted you looked pretty into it." He raised an eyebrow. "Now is it my or Jim's fault that you seem to be turning into a monster?" His voice was light, teasing, but he did keep his hands to himself. Not that he'd particularly mind a repeat of Jim's party all that much...

Bill laughed. "Turning into a monster?" He reached up to run a hand affectionately through Leonard's hair, then smoothed it neatly down again. "I was acting, Len. He and Jim've done that multiple times." He paused. "Although I won't deny I was kind of into it." He sought Leonard's eyes. "You aren't upset, are you?"

"Generally not in public though, I suspect." He leaned in to press a brief kiss to Bill's lips. "No, not upset. Was rather enjoying the show, as a matter of fact."

Bill laughed to hide his blush, and pointed out, "Well, I did ask if it wasn't maybe a bad idea. He said they'd seen worse." His mouth quirked. "You thought it was hot?"

Kirk, Leonard suspected, was even more shameless than Bill, which was frankly quite an achievement.

"I did," he confirmed easily. "Though not as hot as you and Jim the other night." Really, there had to be something wrong with discovering certain voyeuristic tendencies in your seventies.

Bill grinned slowly. "Oh, I know you liked that." He pulled Len down for a kiss, and then smirked a little from a distance of an inch. "You and Jim were hot together, too. Like watching what you must look like when you fuck me."

He leaned back in his chair and recrossed his legs. "Which is gorgeous, by the way, in case you were wondering."

Leonard smirked, trailing his finger along his collar again. "Bill, if you keep talking like that you really will lose your opportunity to play Jim for the rest of the evening."

Bill laughed. "Oh, all right. Patience, Leonard. You can fuck me later." He raised an eyebrow, grinning. "You can take this shirt off me and call me 'Captain', if you want."

Leonard raised a quizzical eyebrow. "Is that a hint that you would like me to replicate some ears and shave my eyebrows?"

Bill paused mid-laugh. " - you really think they can do that?"

"I think you're projecting a bit," Leonard was only half-serious, which was weird enough, thank you very much. "For one thing, it'd be incredibly difficult to keep the perfectly straight Vulcan face under those circumstances. Plus, those ears used to itch."

Which was decidedly unsexy.

"Oh, fine," Bill said, smiling to show he didn't really mind. "Although you seemed to have missed the point about keeping the Vulcan facade intact. The fun would be in me making you break it." He winked. "Anyway, I think I'm going to get another drink. And then I think I'm going to see who else I can convince that I'm Jim. Provided he hasn't gotten to everybody else already and blown our cover."

Leonard brushed his lips lightly over Bill's. "You go have fun. And, oh, Bill?" as he went to move away, "maybe I simply require a little convincing. Anything else would be out of character, after all."

Bill smiled. "I'll work on it," he promised.

He blew Len a kiss, realised after half a second that Jim Kirk would never have done that and wandered off towards the bar, hoping nobody else had seen the gesture.
