[Captain's Log -- Encoded, Locked]

The all female away mission to Lambda 7 has not yet returned. I'm currently up on the bridge, pre-Alpha shift, attempting to begin scans of the surrounding area where the planet is. There have been no communications with the shuttle, any of its occupants, or a peep out of the planet itself. I have assigned Winona Kirk to finding out what happened to them. She is one of the higher ranking females aboard the ship, and to err on the side of caution I feel having a female approach the planet's contacts would end in a better deal for our side then if myself or any other male attempted to do the same. Also, her skills should serve well in locating the missing shuttle craft by other means, if necessary.
Obviously, I've been removed from sick leave though I'm still confined to light duty for another week. I've replaced Spock on the bridge and he has been returned to his normal duty. Ephram Green is still aboard the ship, speaking with members of the crew. There is a report from Medical, see attached, that ship-wide vaccinations are coming up. I'm requiring all those from any other ship, universe, or planet to be up to date on all vaccinations. There will be a ship wide announcement sent out shortly with agreement from the ship's chief medical officer.
I received an intriguing message this morning that late last night, the ensign assigned to communications heard possible activity of a technological nature from the planet below. We've had no communication or other signs of a possible civilization below that wouldn't interfere with the Prime Directive, but I've placed a notice with communications to keep an eye on it. It's one of the last things that we have to worry about right now, but I don't want to be taken unawares.
Lastly, we've had a visitor on this ship that I would like removed more then anything. It is a manifestation of the Narada itself. It has been touring the ship, as I've recently found out. Who knows what it could be learning? I plan to speak with Spock, the one bonded to the other Captain James T. Kirk, about her removal and his return. The Narada, and her crew, sit just outside of firing distance for either ship. Once I have received word from the other Spock, I think that there needs to be an officer's meeting about our options involving the Narada, Ayel, and their Captain that killed billions of people.
We will decide their fate, but my word is the final say.
