[HALLOWEEN PARTY!] -- [Open to ALL PLAYERS!] -- [IC Event!]

It had gone out as an announcement over a month ago, sent to every padd and station by one very excited Captain. A Halloween party! Must come in costume, must have fun!

Despite the hell that had been going on for the last few days, Kirk was determined that it still would happen. After a long discussion with the ship's quartermaster, along with a small army of crewmen who wanted to help, the largest rec room was decorated.

A huge buffet table had been prepared by the galley and sat spread out, all in Halloween theme. Green punch with floating eyeballs, cake decorated to look like a gravestone, a huge bowl of candy, a holographic severed hand that was scurrying around on the table top. There was even a bar set up with quite an expanse of liquor that had been secured on Risa.

There was a small seating area off to one corner, a huge dance floor, tables spread out for a real meal, and a small corner set up for music.

(OOC: Just like the thread with Risa... this is a party that's 'open' from now until Sunday night at midnight! Go nuts! This IS supposed to be IC, like the Risa party, so keep that in mind!)

Winona sighed as she came into the room. Of all the things she could have worn she chose a cheerleader outfit, sometimes she worried herself when she did these sorts of things. She looked around the room before her eyes settled on Chris. His outfit caused a small chuckle to leave her throat as she decided to wait before she joined him.

On his way to the bar, Chris ditched his empty punch cup and nabbed a handful of foil-wrapped chocolates from the table, then looked around. When he spotted Winnie through a gap in the crowd, her hair looking curlier than normal, he headed over.

"A cheerleader," he said in amused confusion, looking her up and down. She really didn't look at all old enough to have grown kids. "Interesting."

"Professor X. Even more interesting." She looked down, shaking her head.

"I had to think of something and because I've apparently lost my mind, I thought of cheerleader. Do I really look that bad, Chris?"

"I never said I meant 'interesting' in a bad way," said Chris, teasing, as he unwrapped a chocolate supposedly shaped like a ghost and held it out. "Quite the opposite, in fact," he added, letting his gaze wander down Winnie's long bare legs in the short skirt. Cheerleading outfits definitely had their good points.

She took the chocolate with a chuckle, playfully rolling her eyes when she noticed his eyes wandering down.

"So I did make the right choice with this outfit. I was a little worried you wouldn't enjoy it." She teased back, biting the chocolate before giving him a short kiss.

Chocolate and kisses; good combination. "Wouldn't enjoy it? C'mon, you know I'm a leg man." He gestured in the direction of the bar. "Was just gonna go get a drink and make sure George isn't killing himself. Want to come?"

"I know, it's just been a while since I've worn a skirt, didn't think it'd look good." She sighed, still a little annoyed that George had insisted on coming like this. "I do. Lead the way, professor."
