It was morning on the Enterprise, and it came with the slow creaking of wood deck around him, swelling in the heat of the morning, the sound of waves against the sides of the ship. Definitely a damn good way to wake up.

Even better was waking up between two warm bodies, one pressed to either side of him. On one side was his cabin boy, a young buck with a foolish head but a pleasing face and tongue. On the other, his first mate, a smug, stoic, uptight, ridiculously intelligent bastard who he had finally talked into ...sharing his bed. At least in the physical sense. He'd won the argument that the captain's bed was the most comfortable place on the ship, but anything beyond that was met with a pointed look and a reach for the sword hilt.

It was a damn good life here on the Enterprise.

He was Captain James T. Kirk of the pirate ship Enterprise, the most feared name on the open seas. He ran his crew with a mixture of charm, command, and the point of his sword. He was a good swordsman, a better brawler, and decent with a flint lock.

Pasha nodded again. "I hear you, woman. Do not worry I can take care of m'self wery well."

Her pale skin flushed with colour at Meira'a kiss, as she reciprocated the action. "Stay safe." the girl said as she turned and barged into the Captain's quarters, it was a dog-eat-dog world and she would be damned if she hadn't earned a promotion.

Pasha thought quickly as she dumped her maps onto the hulking desk, the crew would soon be informed of Garrovick's death and that meant danger for those around and close to her. In particular Meira and Nova.

The best way to protect them was to make the crew support her as a leader, and the best way to get them to support her was with cold hard booty. Yanking the fist Map from her pile she silently poured over it for possible locations of treasure.

The mornings always made Nova restless to see her girls, so she had rolled out of bed early today in order to afford some time to find them before she had to be on deck with the Captain...well, the Captain was still in the surgery, but things had to continue so she would be on deck on the lookout none the less.

She'd been several places they could be, and was almost about to give up and seek them out later when she walked by the Captain's quarters and there they were, standing in the hall outside his door. Curious She sauntered towards them, smiling when they turned to her, but her smile faltered at the looks they wore.

"W-whats happened?"

Pasha looked up from her maps and gave Nova a grim look, raking her flaway hair out of her face. She looked around, the three of them where alone, it seemed they would be safe to discuss the problem without being overheard. "Keptin Garrovich is dead." the young woman whispered bluntly.

"I am putting myself foward as the new Keptin." She added.

Meira ran a hand through her hair. "I will stay with you for a while longer, but I need to return to surgery soon. Tina is expecting me. We'll be needed soon, I am sure."

She frowned. "We'll need more allies though. Three of us aren't enough to take the whole ship."

Pasha chewed on her bottom lip, this would be a problem. Telling people she needed them to support her without clueing them. Pulling a map out and unfurling it she grinned wildly.

"I hawe it! Just the thing we need." She pulled it out on the large desk and pointed to what to the untrained eye would look like a blot or mistake on the paper. "The Ilse del Risa. Full of treasure and a good place for the crew to dock. They be a greedy bunch, the prospect of gold in their pockets would surely make them follow ewen Satan."

Meira's eyebrows shot up. "Isla del Risa? You're sure?"

"Deadly. I was often told rumours of a hiding place in the upper half of it." Pasha confirmed.

Pulling the stopper out of her ink pot (While splattering it over her sleeves) and dipping her quill in she quickly marked where possible spots for the treasure trove could be.

It was always a plus to date a brilliant navigator...and she'd never been wrong about treasure before now.

"I'm behind you all the way, Meira, do you think we could get Tina on our side?"

Meira shrugged. "She plans to stay neutral, as far as I can tell."

She nodded and turned to Pasha, pressing a quick fierce kiss to her lips, hand fisting in her hair.

"Well if you're not fucking careful I'll kill ya myself. Got it?"

And she repeated the actions with Meira. "You too...they'd take ya out before they'd let ya be an asset to her."

Meira grinned. "I'll be careful. And I've got Tina on my back, you know she's a damned tough woman."

She looked at them both one more time. "I should go, before it leaks. Need to get down there. And the threat stands, don't either of you do something stupid."

With that, she turned and left.

Watching Meira's back as she left she refused to let herself worry too much, if anyone made it out it would be her, she was a survivor, even if she didn't realize it.

She turned to Pasha and smiled a wicked grin at her. "So, where do you need me my lady?"
