Your oh so lovely Captain has reserved an entire bar for our use for our final night on Risa! You can get the position of it from the attached file. Nice little place, tucked up on the beach and right up against the waterline, full bar with everything you can imagine! I'll be seeing you all around sunset!


[OOC: This thread can run as long as we need it too, far past the 'end' of Risa Saturday night. Feel free to post anywhere, there's no order, who gives a damn about how the thread looks, just HAVE FUN!]

George chuckled. "What are you drinking?" George still had his whiskey from before. He'd go slow tonight, and look like he was drinking more than he was. There was Karaoke he had his eye on after all, and drunken singing was...not nearly as amusing as sober singing for him.

"Morale, and getting out in public?" George took a moment to eye Spock's new apparel appreciatively.

"It is a chocolate milk beverage."

Spock sipped his drink. He would just have the one.

"And, yes, morale does seem quite improved.

However, you appear somewhat less vigorous than you have been in the past."

"I had a run-in with a plant that'll probably be giving the Science department science-gasms later," George said, chuckling. "Crazy thing, got trapped by it for two days. Luckily my once-wife and kid came and rescued my old ass."

"Fascinating.

I have not had adequate time to explore the plant life of Risa, though I had looked forward to such an opportunity. Perhaps another time. Or perhaps I will be able to study the samples you procured."

Spock eyed George. Though Spock doubted he would wind up in such a condition, it seemed ill-advised.

Though this human seemed particularly accident prone.

"I do not believe my mates would care to spend their last morning of shore leave in pursuit of such a thing, alas."

George laughed. "Probably a good thing. Last mornings of shoreleaves are for finding that sock you lost on day two, and getting the underwear off the ceiling fan." And sweet, slow, long sex.

"As Jim does not wear underwear, underwear on the ceiling fan is less of a problem than one might suppose."

"Still have the two of yours underwears," George said, putting a mental block on that information. "But try the stuffed french toast at Jerry's. It's awesome."

"Jim has persuaded both of us to do without for the duration. It is a very odd sensation. Though not all-together unpleasant. And rather convenient."

"Then all you have to worry about is finding all your socks," George chuckled. "I like underwear. Especially when you're doing a slow strip tease."

"I shall make note of it, George. For... future reference, perhaps.

How are your companions, Winona Kirk and Christopher Pike?"

George grinned widely. "They're good. Not the same...but, still them."

"I wonder if I might ask you a question of some delicacy."

"Shoot," George responded easily. "Whatever you want, I'll tell you if I can."

"You appear to maintain a successful relationship with each of your lovers. My Leonard, though as equally dear to me as my Jim, harbors some insecurity that he is a lesser love. Is this a... common issue for humans in such situations?"

George smiled softly. "I don't know if it's a common issue for humans...most still cling to the binary relationship structure, husband husband, wife wife, husband wife style."

"On a personal level, yes, it happens within my relationship with Chris and Winona indeed," George answered, searching to give Spock the best answer. "Chris occasionally feels that he is the odd duck, that he's intruding somehow on our relationship. But, to be honest, Winnie and I couldn't be together without him, he's integral."

"This is my belief in regards to my Leonard. Yet he remains unconvinced, though I have demonstrated such through our bond."

Spock fiddles with his drink, a rare nervous gesture.

"I do not wish him to be unsatisfied as my bondmate."

George chuckled. "Want to take this discussion outside or are you comfortable maintaining it in the bar with everyone? I'm no relationship counselor, but maybe I can help, with a bit more experience."

Spock looks around, realizing how very crowded the bar has gotten.

"Perhaps another locale would be advisable."

"Let's take it out to the beach then," George said, motioning towards the bar's back door. "Shouldn't be filled with people yet...no one's started to drunkenly karaoke." He waited for a moment, then started to wend his way through the crowd.

Spock followed George through the crowd. He brought his drink. He... understood Jim's occasional assertion that he needed a drink.

Kirk was definitely surprised to briefly see Spock and his father walking out through the crowd. They seemed an unlikely pair, but then again, maybe that was part of what the night was for. His lips twitched into the faintest smile, but when he half-turned, a fetching young lady caught his eye and the thought was gone.

George didn't bother to bring his, he'd just pick up a new one when he got back inside. As soon as they were outside, he took off his shoes and socks, storing those by the door, and took a moment to dig his toes into the sand. "C'mon, let's walk a bit."
