Sir, I'm in Transporter Bay 3 right now. I've looked over the logs from the other Enterprise. With the signature off the communications buffer and the residual readings from the transport earlier, I think I can successfully draw off their Transporter Pads.

However, it'll take a considerable amount of time to formulate the correct equation to send them back across--beaming there is going to be considerably harder.

Harder, but not impossible, Sir.

Time we've got, as long as Bones makes it to this ship. If we lose him, Scotty, we lose all three of them. No pressure or anything.

Scotty laughed aloud, a dry half-hearted bark as his brows drew together and he frowned at the rapidly scrolling telemetry equations he'd been working through.

"Aye, na' pressure or anythin'," Scotty agreed weakly and replied to Kirk's message with a quick, Understood, Captain..
