Communication to All

Your oh so lovely Captain has reserved an entire bar for our use for our final night on Risa! You can get the position of it from the attached file. Nice little place, tucked up on the beach and right up against the waterline, full bar with everything you can imagine! I'll be seeing you all around sunset!

[OOC: This thread can run as long as we need it too, far past the 'end' of Risa Saturday night. Feel free to post anywhere, there's no order, who gives a damn about how the thread looks, just HAVE FUN!]

George hugged him. "That's a fine young man you got there. Do you want me to go after him?"

"No." Kirk was quiet for several moments, then he slowly stood up. "Gonna go find him." He sighed slightly and walked off in the direction Bones went, looking for him.

McCoy had found himself a little spot down past the bar. He'd grabbed a drink from the grinning waitstaff, but right now, he just needed to be alone and think.

What had possessed him to do that? He could have sung anything... fuck, he drank too much. Only excuse for him thinking that was anyway near appropriate. Fucking gonna scare him off again. Goddammit...

He lay down, looking up at the stars again. One hand in the air, he began to draw little pictures. Anything to get his mind off of what just happened.

Kirk looked at Bones from a distance, just staring at his friend in silence for several long moments. He let out a breath and slowly walked up behind him, and took a moment to remember the lyrics.

His voice was a little rough to start with, but as he sat down beside Bones, his voice smoothed out. It was quiet, but... good. He stared down at the ground as they sat beneath the stars, singing in those soft tones, sweet and tender, his eyes finally closing shut by the time he was done, unable to look at the person beside him.

Leonard stared out at the water for as Jim sang. He swallowed hard as he kept going, finally letting go of that breath he was holding. Fuck, Jim...

His hands folded in front of him, he waited until Kirk was finished. He looked scared, about as scared as he felt. We deserve each other, he mused to himself, meaning it in the best possible way.

When he couldn't stand the silence anymore, he turned to Kirk. One hand reached up and cradled the back of his head, pulling it close to him. "Told you you were good at that..." he whispered into his ear, nuzzling the soft hair, kissing his temple, before turning, finding his mouth and kissing him tenderly, slowly.

He fell back, pulling Jim on top of him, their kiss not stopping as they settled into each other's arms. Couldn't stop kissing him. Never gonna stop kissing him.

Words, who needed words. They had this.

It felt terrifying to sing, knowing how much those words meant, how much they would mean to Bones, how much he meant them. Things he couldn't say easily to Bones just... came out like this. A way to focus.

He kept their kisses gentle, sweet, tender, holding Bones close as he tried to tell him through their hands and mouths just how he felt. How much he really did need Bones in his life. The intensity of that scared the shit out of him to be honest, but like Bones had said... there was going to be pain, but the good out weighed it.
