Communication to All
Your oh so lovely Captain has reserved an entire bar for our use for our final night on Risa! You can get the position of it from the attached file. Nice little place, tucked up on the beach and right up against the waterline, full bar with everything you can imagine! I'll be seeing you all around sunset!
[OOC: This thread can run as long as we need it too, far past the 'end' of Risa Saturday night. Feel free to post anywhere, there's no order, who gives a damn about how the thread looks, just HAVE FUN!]

Date: 2009-08-23 12:11 am (UTC)"I think I still owe you a round or two Lieutenant." She laughed brightly and squeezed Pasha's hand tight. She was feeling better now that one of her girls was around, and the James Kirk drink seemed to be taking a strong effect. She tipped her glass and waved to the bar tender, waiting patiently for him to make his way over. The man was going to make a killing in tips.
"You look gorgeous, by the way, beautiful dress!"

Date: 2009-08-23 12:40 am (UTC)She turned to wave at Nova and Pasha, a bright smile creeping across her features. As soon as they were beside her, she wrapped her arms warmly around them. "You know what, I think you do." she grinned, letting them go and settling herself back down on her seat.
Leaning back to appraise them (and the close body language they were exhibiting, a habit) she smiled her appreciation. "You both look gorgeous and you got Pasha in heels." Her hands came to her chest in a proud motherly gesture. "I'm truly astounded."

Date: 2009-08-23 03:32 am (UTC)"Christine turned me on to these, they're quite good." she let a sly grin spread on her face, and leaned a bit on Pasha's shoulder, hands still linked.
"Pasha looks gorgeous, and the heals were a must, even though I know just how horrible they are." She gestured down to her own 4 inch green slingbacks that were making her toes numb, but gave her the extra height to just barely see over the crowd. Well most of them anyway.
"So, fill me in, I haven't seen you since our first day here! I would have sent you a message to meet up, but I figured you and Spock might have secluded yourself somewhere. Not that there is anything wrong with that." She blushed a bit, realizing that really the only thing she had done was seclude herself.

Date: 2009-08-23 04:17 am (UTC)"Kirk?" she spluttered, looking astounded for a moment before she burst out laughing. It really didn't surprise her, come to think of it. "Oh god." Picking up a glass, she sniffed it. "I think I've been drinking these all week. I had no idea I was drinking Kirk." She shook her head, ridding herself of that particular image.
"She does," Nyota grinned, giving Pasha another look. She was so damned adorable, Nyota had to remember not to reach out and muss her hair, grab her cheeks. Apparently this motherly urge spread to both Chekovs, no matter their gender. Gesturing down to her own shoes, she gave them both a sympathetic look. "All I can say is there better not be any trouble. I don't have the right shoes to be running about."
That same look, she noted. She was well adept at picking up body language by now, and theirs was undeniable. Still, she said nothing, simply gave them a knowing smile. "I actually didn't, Spock and I had separate plans. I mean, we've had dinner, but he wanted to explore to coves, and I went climbing at Galartha. I take it you've enjoyed your week?"

Date: 2009-08-23 05:35 am (UTC)She bit her tongue and resisted the urge to say the things out loud that had just been in her mind. She's beautiful. They hadn't yet talked about this whole thing...whatever it was, as Christine had brought up earlier. Until then she hadn't thought about it at all, too wrapped up in the newness of it.
"I doubt there will be any trouble, anyway, stilettos make good projectiles. Not that I would know."
"That sounds nice really. Aside from our first afternoon on the beach, and some, uh, wanderings I did a couple nights ago I haven't seen much of Risa besides the area around our hotel. Killer view from the balcony though. Yeah...it was nice, aside from a hiccup, it's been a truly amazing week." Bit of a blush. She wondered if there was a hypo for it and if Meira could have a private stock, she might need it.

Date: 2009-08-23 10:55 pm (UTC)Looking down at their shoes, she had to concede that she had a point. If there was any trouble, they could probably damage someone with their heels. In fact, she recalled doing just that once at the Academy. "Starfleet should look into that; stillettos as weapons. The women would love that."
Placing her glass back down, Nyota regarded them both with a bright smile, watching as Nova would blush and look surreptitiously at Pasha. She couldn't help her smile from softening, looking at them with a sisterly affection. Young love at its very finest, she thought to herself, yet once again worded none of this. It was their relationship to explore and tell in their own time, she knew how important that was more than anyone. "Which is exactly what Risa is for. Sun, sea and sand. Doing absolutely nothing for the entire week so you're all relaxed and fully prepared to deal with the next great adventure we're sure to have. Mission accomplished."

Date: 2009-08-24 05:33 pm (UTC)Nova noticed Nyota's eyes lingering on her hands linked with Pasha's and blushed further if it was possible. She could tell she approved by her smile, and she felt joyously happy. She couldn't help pulling Pasha in for a kiss then, all shadows of her fathers death disappeared now in being with her and Nyota's silent approval. It was soft and sweet, no demands, just a brush of lips and she smiled and gazed across the bar, the only thing missing now was Meira.
"Mission accomplished indeed." and she spotted the older version of the Captain moving toward the mic, astonished she pointed. "Oh look! Karaoke! I might have to stop drinking now, or Meira might be able to get me up there, and I know she'll try."

Date: 2009-08-24 10:42 pm (UTC)Nyota resisted the urge to squeal and pull them both into a hug, simply averting her eyes politely as they kissed to look down at her drink, before she once again met their gaze. "So where's the last musketeer?" she questioned, taking a glance around the bar. She hadn't seen Meira for a few days, and hoped nothing was wrong with the girl. How could anything be wrong on Risa?
Raising a brow as the older Captain took the stage and began a particularly... unique rendition of Rocket Man, she pressed her lips together to resist another inappropriate urge to laugh. "You should!" Nyota enthused. "Karaoke is good for the soul. Or at least it unites us all in embarrassment."
