The meal was delicious, and it didn't take Bones long to clean his plate (and grab seconds of the corn and salad). The sun began to set in the horizon, and not for the first time Bones marveled at the idea that this little cabin was theirs. It couldn't have been more private, located on a perfect white sand beach, the small house filled with simple but luxurious furnishings.

It had to cost Jim a fortune.

The idea of the enormity of that gift overwhelmed him, and as he leaned back in his chair, he looked out at the water and back at Jim, unable to speak but feeling content and loved.
