She inhaled sharply, drew in sudden breath that pebbled his skin at the touch and reached for him, caught his forearms as her hips eased down--he crooked his leg a little higher, shifted to meet her and held her well; she wouldn't have to worry about balance. She lifted her head just enough to watch him with eyes wide and shining.
"You're beautiful," he said.
The words were out of his mouth before he could get them back, stupid, stereotypical; she might laugh. But then, he could always kiss her again, too.
