Spock relaxed with each slow breath that Jim just rubbed slow circles. He wasn't even sure that he would go through with his request, was already regretting goading him further--how hard would he make them?--
The strike had him arching, his whole body lurching forward away from it. He had doubted Jim's strength, to his own detriment now. The twenty-first had been surprising, too, and now he didn't know what the upper limit was. He just took in lungfuls of air, eyes wide but unseeing, his whole body tense for each blow.
When it seemed to stop at twenty-five, his whole body sagged, still taking in those deep breaths, trying to recover some coherent thought. "...Jim." It was hardly a mewl.
