Good or poor were relative terms, and Leonard would hardly have known which to apply in this particular circumstance.

Such ruminations aside, he did catch her, instinctively, the way she tipped off to the side leaving them in an even closer position than before, his arm curled around her, fingers splayed against her back.

She might be cold, but her skin was scorching to the touch. Good god, what was wrong with him? He usually didn't get aroused by someone who was clearly in some degree of physical distress.

"It's alright," he forced himself to say, against the blood that rushed to his face (he was ignoring certain other places it seemed determined to head), "dizzy? Do you need to sit down? Or maybe, if you can walk, better somewhere you can lie down?"

Honestly, this was getting ridiculous, the way the innuendo crept in without his say-so.
