It did still feel strange, as much as it felt right; the slightly different taste of her lips, the different shape of her body, the different way it felt when it pressed against his. It felt strange, new, but it felt right. He didn't want to pull away. He didn't want to stop.
He let himself be pulled closer towards her, deepening the kiss as she did so, hand on her cheek shifting to her neck to thread through her hair. He twisted the enclosed hand in hers, seeking out her fingers to entwine them with his, not wanting to let her go, wanting to keep her close.
He had to pull back, briefly, to catch his breath, resting his forehead on hers and breathing deeply. He looked down, gently encouraging her to open her eyes with a finger, before he could look down into them, so close, so near. He didn't want to say anything, to break this mood with words. He asked, with his eyes, if she wanted to continue. He was tentative, and unsure, but he knew that he wanted to be close to her, and that he wanted to keep his hand in hers, and that the press of her lips against his was...delightful.
