"Yeah." Keenser replied, "Working on a cooling conduit." Mounting the ladder, he lead the way up to the out-of-the-way nook where they'd been working.

"Scott!" He hailed, poking his head up into the small, dimly-lit space. As with many of the more remote locations in engineering, lighting was limited to the illuminated coolant and the various glowing dials and gauges in order to save power. There was no point, after all, in lighting an area that would be deserted 99.32% of the time. The result was an almost cozy atmosphere, dim enough for Keenser to doff his tinted goggles, but bright enough for Scott to see what he was doing.

"Captain's here," Keenser informed him. "Something about modifications."
