She accepted the glass with a smile of thanks and took a small sip. It tasted awful to her, but then, she'd hardly expected fine wine, someplace like this.

Somewhere to start a new life, without worrying too much about the old one." She met his eye, allowing a bit of humor to creep into her smile. "A reasonably steady income would be nice too, of course."
