After Sea World, Jim was still feeling the rush, but when Spock wanted to go to Lego Land, Jim just grinned and told Bones and Spock to enjoy themselves. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with them, but in reality, he wanted to explore the city. He wanted to see how this city thrived, loved, breathed, like all the other cities he had explored in his day.
More, there was something he wanted to buy. When, or even if, he would get to use it, but if he needed it... just if... he wanted to have it.
He left the hotel with some better idea of how to use Chris' phone and its location feature, safely tucked into his pocket, and firstly went to do something about clothes. The last thing he needed to do was be seen as Chris in dirty clothes, plus the hoodie was hot. A hat, maybe? Sunglasses? Sunglasses would be good. A clean tee shirt and jeans, and he'd be set. He'd spotted the laundry room in the hotel.
That was first, and he had figured out the good of taxis soon enough. So he sent out a few while he sat in the back with the driver taking him to the nearest mall. Already he loved Google and Chris' laptop. A quick one to Chris, Zach, and Karl, a slightly longer one to Nyota, finishing just as they pulled up. He paid, then got out and went inside.
If there was someone with a camera this time, he'd take a more drastic measure. How did Chris live like this?
It'd be late before he came back to the hotel, a bag on either arm, and a smaller one tucked hidden in his new coat. He couldn't help the grin on his face, specially as he listened to the device now tucked in his ears. Life was good.

He turned the television set on, the sound very low but Bones wasn't listening anyway. His eyes were glued to the images on the screen, the country he grew up in so different, just a few hundred years ago. Images of life and people that were familiar, but not the life or people that he knew.
The door to the hotel room opened, and Bones heard Jim enter the room. He gave Jim a little wave to let him know where he was, then pointed to the sleeping man next to him.

He pointed to a bag across the room. "I got some for Joanna. Not as fancy as what she's used to, but interesting in their own way." There were other bags over there as well, but that was for later.

"Where you been?" he asked, noting the other bags in the room. "Did you eat?"

"I got some little snacks over there, in case you want something later. Just a bag of cookies." And some fudge, but that was for tomorrow. Scooting over, he made more room for Jim to lay down next to him.

One hand slid around Jim's back and he leaned in for another soft kiss.

Spock was still crashed out, and Jim sounded tired as well. Bones shifted himself until the robe was off his body, and he settled into the pillows of their make-shift mountain of a bed. "I get to be in the middle tonight?" he laughed, feeling Jim's skin - well, Chris' skin against his, a pair of loose pants hanging around Jim's waist.

Their legs twined together like they always did, and though Bones felt himself getting hard he tried to ignore it. "Was good seeing you laugh today, Jim, in the water," he said, reaching for Jim's hand.

He gave his thigh a small nudge forward. "Want me to take care of that?" No feeling of requirement, just a hint of offer and desire.

They hadn't done anything like that with Spock since it happened, Pon Farr, and Bones didn't think Jim was ready to be intimate with Spock yet.

"...Jim," the name escaped after a few moments as he mouth sought out and found Jim's, kissing him deep.

But his mind could still feel it, and it was enough to rouse him. His movements were sleepy, slow, and instinctive. His lips barely touched against Leonard's shoulder blades, and his fingertips rested against his side (but were creeping lower, over his hip). Spock could feel that they were already pressed close, and the expanse of skin was nice to feel even if it lacked the connection he was used to. He had all the connection he needed right at the back of his mind.

One hand left Jim's hip and moved to his own, covered Spock's hand and squeezed gently as he caught Jim's eyes, still thrusting slow into Jim's hand. Do we stop?

Besides, Bones felt too good against him.

He groaned into Jim's mouth, not needing to keep quiet anymore as his hips pumped up and down. Jim was right, Spock - even in Zach's body - was toasty warm behind him, and his fingers curled around Spock's hand.

Fingers held Jim's head steady, and he arched back, his head rolling against Spock as his hips slowly canted back and forth, in and out of Jim's mouth.

It wasn't going to take long, he knew, so he slowed his thrusts down, trying to draw out the feelings, and let his mind open up so he could share this with Spock.

The bond sang louder and differently than it had in months. Spock shuddered with the unfamiliar heat of it, and his hips pressed forward of their own volition. "" he kissed Leonard's neck again, ""

He could feel the movement of Spock's body against the backs of his hands where he gripped Bones' thighs, but instead of the anger/fear/protection he felt in their more recent days, there was only a faint hint of concern that was slowly vanishing over time.

But inside Bones things were boiling over, and he felt himself still and shudder, holding Jim's head steady with one hand as he came with a strangled groan. One leg tangled between Spock's and he arched back into him as he tried to catch his breath.
