[Brig] -- [Demora and Kirk]
In his millionth task for the day, Kirk slipped down into the brig. He pointedly ignored the two people from the other universe, and instead... stopped in front of the new comer. ...Damn! Fine looking chick. That they knew nothing about.
He put on a lazy grin and looked to her, "Hello there, stranger." He said easily, curious how she would react.

"Captain," she said calmly. "Glad to see you haven't changed at all from who you were in my universe."

Still holding back laughter, she spoke. "Actually I figured it out myself. Finding a seventeen year old female version of your dad kind of gave me a clue. Plus that fact that right before I'd been in a transporter."
She raised an eyebrow. "I remember the last time you flirted with me." This time she couldn't hold back the laughter.

Interesting. Very much so.
"So Chekov is your father." He rubbed his chin a little, amused. Girl in front of him looked... well, fairly young herself. "Interesting. Not that I believe you, necessarily."

She stretched her arms out and leaned against the wall. "You were my godfather, you know."

"I don't live on Earth. I only spent a few short times on Earth to visit my grandparents. I spent my entire life, barring a few shore leaves, on the Enterprise."

She bit her lip. "When I was little I started spending a lot of time in Engineering. Eventually started working there. I don't think I could ever be as good as Scotty but I think I got pretty close."
Scotty. Dammit, I miss him already.

"...Alright, I'll contact Bones. If you're Chekov's kid... you can at least be free of the brig. If I find out you're mucking around in the systems, doing anything someone who isn't known shouldn't be doing on this ship, I'll have you back in here so quickly that you won't know what happened." He just wasn't in the mood to deal with this stuff today.

"Thanks. And, uh, after you let me go, any chance of me getting to track down my parents - well, I guess here they aren't my parents."

She shook her head. This couldn't get any weirder.
"The one I talked to was female."

He brought up his communicator and called into it, "Kirk to sickbay."

He'd never seen so many people down here, prisoners and security officers. "What do you need, Captain," he asked, looking over at the young woman Jim was talking to.
He frowned. "Don't recognize you," he said quietly, sparing a glance over at Jim. "I'm Doctor McCoy," he said to her.

She looked over at Uncle Bones. He looked the same as he did back in her world. That was comforting, atleast.

Right.
"Bones, if you would?"

"I can also use hair, he looked at Jim, "but it's not as accurate. Mind giving me a drop or two?" he asked her, holding out his hand in front of her.

She doubted that was going to happen this time.

Within a few moments the tricorder beeped it's answer. "Holy shit," he muttered, handing it to Jim.

She paused, frowning. "Damn. I suppose I have to re-enlist to become a member of Starfleet again."
