The kiss was soft--changed, new, in some way that eclipsed definition, slid blessedly past his ability to reason or figure and hummed in his blood. Couldn't keep it all in, matched it with warm sound and leaned into it.
They weren't standing on titles or names or this place or even their clothes. None of that mattered.
There just was no doing anything about the height difference, standing up, but it put ears in easy reach, let him kiss, pressing with teeth gentled behind new lips.
