The punch hit its target, but Sam was too close for Jim to build up the full power he needed. It was still, however, enough to knock the air out of his lungs.

Sam lunged forward, pushing Jim to the ground. Once he had him there, he had no clue what to do with him. His ribs hurt to bad to do much fighting, so Sam quickly moved to pin Jim down.
