I have no doubt they have some weapons onto them, but I don't dare send someone in to frisk them. The Narada's gone from the ship. Her power levels are back to fully functioning, and we have no idea what she's doing down there. I agree she's sentient, at least to the point I have no doubt she's going to possibly come up here and attack us. There's nothing we can do to her, that shielding is too powerful.
