"Most of the way." Kirk murmured, sliding a hand down Bones' arm so he could link their hands together. Just a bit longer, a few more hours, before they had to return to being Captain and CMO, wearing the mantles of those titles and the burdens that came with it.

"Hey, Bones?" A thought was nudging at him, causing him to smirk just slightly. "You think things'll be the same back on the ship? With us?" A laugh made him shake slightly, "Think we can still have the same kinda fun we had the other night?"
